BDO has appointed two new partners this week, bringing the number of newly recruited partners since January to 12.
Rob McCann is a corporate finance partner in the firm’s Manchester office, joining from Lloyds Bank, and Nick Andrews joins BDO’s London forensics team, based in the firm’s head office in Baker Street.
Paul Eagland, managing partner at BDO, said: “Our clients are coming to us with increasingly complex challenges and requirements, so it is crucial that we continue to expand and develop our areas of expertise with appointments like this.
“Private equity remains one of our key areas of focus and Rob’s knowledge and experience will allow us to continue to be experts of the PE market in the North West.
“Nick’s knowledge of M&A disputes will also be a real asset to our forensics team, and it is fantastic to welcome them both to the firm.”
BDO is considered the UK’s top accountancy firm for mid-sized businesses, and is the sixth largest accountancy firm in the world after the Big Four and Grant Thornton.
July marks six months since BDO completed its merger with Moore Stephens LLP.
